Years ago I would drive out to Galveston Island, park the Geo Tracker on East Beach, and just sit and stare into nothing. I did that often back in the day; as my days we're pretty rough. The beach always has, and always will be such a beautiful place to me. No matter where you are, or what beach your on; no matter if the color of the water is blue or brown; real moments are sure to be found. No matter if the skies are overcast, or if the sky is full of golden light, there are always real moments to capture in that beautiful golden light.
Last night was no exception. I got to hang out with the Sigmone Family for about an hour up at Honeymoon Island. This family is so vibrant, and so full of energy. More importantly, this family is real! They are a lot like our family. I know when Max gets to be about 6 or so, I'll be sitting on him and making him say "Uncle" too! :)
