I received an email last week from the Children's Wish Foundation asking to document Sammy's Wish. Sammy is 12, and was diagnosed with Medulloblastoma; a nasty type of cancer that nests itself inside the brain. It mostly affects young children. However...cancer doesn't stand a change against Lego's! The kind folks at Childrens Wish Foundation, together with the Lego Store in Baybrook Mall, provided Sammy with a shopping spree! I wanted to do something special for Sammy and his family too, so I sent a message to the amazing Roxanne at Pixel2Canvas and they are happy to donate a wall canvas of any picture that you guys want!
I had so much fun yesterday, and was absolutely delighted to donate my time and be a part of such a special occassion! Here are just a few of my favorites from yesterday.
He had plenty of help along the way.
A frikking ginormous wall of lego pieces!
He totally digged it! (can digged be used like that? Dig....dug.....)
See what I mean....he's a thinker....wants to make the most logical decision.
The wall could be his....but he took his time. Such a smart guy!
Sammy, I hope you have a blast with your Legos! Your gonna be building forever!
