On Sunday I flew out to New York to meet two of the super coolest people on the planet, Barbara and Tobias. Besides rocking my socks because they are so cool, they are THE cutest couple ever! They also took the record for the longest engagement session ever; a total of 9 hours of shooting on two different days. Naturally, there are enough photos on this post that will make your computer croak...but it's totally worth the wait!
We started shooting Sunday afternoon about 3 PM....temperature outside was 27 degrees outside!
We dabbled just a bit in Central Park, but we we're eager to get to Times Square...it was the first time any of us had been there before, and we knew we'd spend a few hours here the next day.
Trump Tower....frikking tall!
BIG props to Matt Richman for coming out and doing some video of the evening. This will be combined with footage from their wedding in Jamaica to make one bangin promotional video!
Such a super hot couple!
Times Square was bigger than it looks on TV....and it was SO frikking bright....I felt like wearing my sunglasses at night.
Temperature: 20 degrees...I was plenty warm though....2 pairs of socks, longjohns, 3 sweaters, and this big honkin snow jacket....that was my first time in weather that cold.
The next morning we started early...about 7:30 AM. Temperature was 18 degrees, with the wind chill making it about 10 degrees.
They frikking rocked it on the Brooklyn Bridge.
The most beautiful bridge I've ever seen....and hard to believe it's been here over 150 years!
I love that morning light!
We then headed to Central Park. This place is SO frikking big! I've never seen a park this big before in my life! We didn't even get to cover an 1/8th of this park...there we're SO many beautiful places to shoot...frikking cool.
She is going to be a stunning bride!
We hoped the fence into a baseball field full of snow. After about 45 seconds one of the ground keeper dudes was yelling at us to get off the field. I apologized, but he said "your not sorry, there are signs everywhere!" I guess all the fences that we're rigged up was supposed to be the sign.
I LOVE this picture!
Tobias rockin a furry heat.
Grand Central Station.
The subway.
Guggenheim Museum.
By now it was about 2 PM, and it was time for me to go. We hoped in a cab back to the hotel, and chatted for an hour or so until I had to leave for the airport. I had SUCH a blast, and totally can't wait until the wedding this weekend in Ocho Rios!
