It's been too long since a Cornucopia of Randomness post! Be warned....these topics stream un-censored from yours truly so be prepared to be like...wow....this guy is frikking cool. :)
- LOST is getting weirder, and weirder, and weirder. I mean it was weird to begin with the smoke demon, but damn it's totally frikking whack now. What's next? A worm-hole to another planet?
- We're finally moving into our new place this weekend. For the last 3 months we've been temporarily staying with Brandi's Family in their big house while we searched for a house. There are no places to rent here because of Hurricane Ike destroying Galveston and now people are snagging up all the available rent houses. Everyone is price gouging (is that spelt right) too because they can. We don't want to buy a house yet because we haven't sold the other house in Florida yet. Anyhow, we found a simple place thats sort of remote and their is absolutely ZERO internet provided out there. No Cable, no DSL, no frikking dial up! I started researching some internet stuff through satellite and for a 5mb line it was over $300 a month! WTF? Seriously? Which brings me too my next topic...
- Since their is ZERO internet and Spilled Milk Designs pretty much operates on the internet I got one of those Mobile Broadband thinga-mabobs from this place called Criket Wireless. They are the most in-expensive option other than paying a few hundred bucks through any of the big guys. The speed will be like 4 times less than what I'm dealing with now but at least it's something. And something is better than nothing.
- Max is sick or something. He's been running this fever for a few days and not wanting to really eat anything. I'm sure he's fine, but it's still sucky because he wakes up in the middle of the night and is not sleeping well. Poor dude!
- I entered some prints into the WPPI 16x20 Print Competition and they scored 75! It sounds cool, but the scores start at 70! They are considered "Below average." Bummer.....and they don't explain why they scored low so it's like they are saying....."you suck, try again." I think after looking at 3000 photos they all begin to look the same. Oh well, maybe next time. :)
- Showit Sites is absolutely rockin the house with their updates. This software is becoming more and more impressive and they are listening to their clients which is why they are so popular right now. I LOVE the freedom to change things as I please, and to implement the latest features they have to offer! They totally rock!
- I'm going to record another VLOG because Brandi says I sounded depressed in the first one. Be on the lookout for that soon.
- The Promo video is being revised a bit so stay tuned for that too.
- Brandi and I have a new hobby; cooking! She made Salmon Cobb Burgers the another nite and they we're yum frikking tastic. I made this baked cheese dip and we demolished it! Wait...I think I still have some left.....sweet!
