So this morning a guy tried to carjack a newer Dodge Charger, and was confronted by the home owner who was apparently headed out to work at 5 AM this morning. The carjacker tried to shoot the home owner but missed and ran off, which of course resulted in cops galore, news choppers, the whole nine yards looking for this guy. This took place about a half mile away from our place. All day choppers have been circling our house, and they started up again this evening. Now it's like 9PM and they apparently found the guy and he tried to shoot the cops, which of course pissed the cops off even more so it's like a war over here right now.
Our place is TOTALLY dark at night and we have some land behind our place and I'm kind of nervous. It's weird because this is NOT a crime area....it's the frikking boonies.....there's like....nothing out here......so crime is pretty much nill.
