Before flying home last week I got to hang out with Charlie and Sined at Busch Gardens for their pre-wedding shoot. Their wedding is coming up in November back in Florida, and this was the last time I'd be in Florida until that time so now was the best time for the session.
They stop into Busch Gardens all the time, being that they are about 5 minutes away and have annual passes. For them it serves as a way to "get away," from the daily grind that we go through evey day. Stop in, have a brewskie, peep some cool looking animals...naturally...their engagement session had to be exactly like that.
I let my couple's have full control over where we'll be shooting. I think it's a greater challenge, as most often the locations they pick I've never been to before. Having to adapt to differerent lighting situations, and people conditions on the fly is crucial.
Now, the People Condition at Busch Gardens...extreme! We thought we had it all planned out....yeah....lets go on a weekday and there will be nobody there! Little did we know it was frikking spring break....and it was like a Saturday morning! The place was packed like frikking Sardines. Unfortunately we didn't get to ride any rides...BUT....we had a blast anyways, and got some really fun shots.
