The alarm went off at 5:30 AM the next morning after the reception ended late. After 4 hours of sleep...Chris, myself, the bride, and the groom were off to their honeymoon retreat in Montego Bay. Tanya and Victor snuck us in to the Sandals Royal Resort where we were going to have their "Day After," session...AKA...Trash the Dress...Jamaican style! The place is amazing, and I HIGHLY suggest staying there. The fact that I was on the grounds is rare, seeing as how they do not allow ANY photographers on the premises. I considered myself very fortunate, and a tad bit lucky.
After shooting for a bit on the resort grounds, we boarded a small boat and headed to a small private island right off the coast. I doubt that I'll ever step foot on that island again, so I made the most of the small time that I had there. Tanya and Victor are such a beautiful couple, and I am forever in thanks for allowing me to be a part of this very special experience.
As a wedding photographer, the primary goal is to recreate the story of the day. I decided to take things to the extreme and fire off as many photos as I good during the Trash the Dress Session. 1083 photos were taken in 84 minutes and compiled to tell the story of Tanya and Victors Trash the Dress session in Montego Bay, Jamaica.
