It makes me sad to see that he's grown up so fast already. It was just yesterday that he would lie on the couch and not move. It's so different now, but that's a good thing I reckon. Thankfully, I've taken nearly 30,000 photos of this kid since he was born. I captured the moments so we can look back on them one day. Besides our memories, photographs are the only thing we'll have left to reminisce with.
Time is an amazing creature to me; I suppose you could say I have a nostalgic personality. I wish I could have frozen time when I was in high school. It's the "good 'ol days" for most.
I think that essentially molded way of thinking about Life in general. Moments are just that; moments. They are here, and in an instant they are gone. When I got older, I realized my gift for capturing moments; I could then "freeze time" for others. What a fantastic gift to be able to give to someone! In that fraction of a second I could freeze a moment for eternity!
