Being back home here in Houston has been so nice! Everyone is much happier here, including Houstonians. When we moved down a few weeks ago, we went through a toll road and the lady working the toll booth told us hi, waved, and told us to have a great day. Brandi was like….”what!?”…..”…toll people don’t speak!?” In Florida they don’t, but people here in Houston are just happy.

So, it’s been like a month and now we’re driving back to Florida! We leave in…about 2 hours. I have a super frikking cool wedding to shoot in Orlando at Paradise Cove on Friday, so we figured we’d just drive back to tie up a few loose ends. Still paying for a house note with no renters is crappy! We have lots of stuff so that means another trip with a Uhaul. It freaked me out the first time towing a Uhaul because I’ve never towed anything so I didn’t know what to expect. It was o.k…but those stupid construction zones where the lanes are like 2 feet wide….that was scary!…and bridges….ughh…..I don’t like big bridges!

It’s kind of sad though because in order to make good timing….the trip….the packing….would go much faster without having Max with us. I know I’m gonna cry when we drop Max off at my parents in a couple hours….we’ve never left him for a night anywhere, let alone 5 days! I know Brandi is gonna be upset too. It will be good though…Max has super awesome family here, and my family is taking a half shift, and Brandi’s family is taking a half shift. Family rocks! It will also be cool because Brandi and I haven’t really had alone time since Max was born 15 months ago.

Hah! So New Years eve….some hotel in Mobile….just the wife and I celebrating the New Year together! It’s sad because we won’t have Max, but it’s good because it’s just the 2 of us. SO many mixed emotions!

- Spilled Milk Designs just launched the NEW Barefoot Memories with Showit Sites!

- Why does customer service get upset when you want them to price match? My frikking G1 is awesome because I can use Shopsavvy to scan bar codes and find the product online, and locally for better prices. The first time I was in Circuit City to buy a Wacom tablet and Best Buy had it for like $15 less. I showed the guy, he grunted, and gave me the $15 off. So…like….yesterday I was in Best Buy this time to get some CF cards because the price on those we’re like the same as online, I whipped out my G1, scanned the barcode but this time Circuit City had the cards for $5 less. The lady at the counter at Best Buy didnt believe my G1. She could’nt understand how my phone can scan barcodes and search for the lowest price. After calling Circuit City to confirm, and making me wait like 15 minutes….I gots my $15 off! Worth it to stand and wait? No. Fun? Heck yeah!

I just got word that Tanya and Victors destination wedding is going to be published in the Spring 2009 issue of Destination Weddings and Honeymoons magazine! That frikking rocks! I’ll be sure to post up some snips from the magazine in the Spring.

Yesterday we went out to a local park to let Max run off some steam, and I also had a chance to play with my new something. Well, this one is not mine. I’m renting it to get a feel for it before buying it and….wow…it frikking rocks! I also figured since I have posted pictures of Max in more than a coons age, I’ll make up for it by posting a ridiculous amount! You also get to see a few of me….because….drumroll….Brandi took pictures! Wow wow!

Business will resume as normal tomorrow. The only days the office is closed is Chistmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Years Day. I am offically done shooting until next year! Woo hoo!

…well thats because I had to frikking hide behind my brother all ninja like just to get a picture of Max on Santas lap! This Santa doesnt even deserve the right to have Santa capatalized with an S! Big sign that says you can’t take pictures without purchasing a print package! To make it even worse, the kids werent even allowed to sit on santas lap! They had to sit on a frikking bench next to Santa! WTF? To top it off…this santa was a phoney because he; had a fan pointed on him, and he was checking his cell phone in between kids! What a rip! We’re doing our own Santa next year….full details on this later….

Max of course….he knew Santa was a phoney…

Then the REAL frikking Santa came! I got WAY excited because I know the guy personally!
