We take out the trash at minimum every 3-4 weeks or so. I think we reduced our garbage by 70% by recycling pretty much everything.

I’ve been meaning to post this up for a few weeks now.  After a few edit sessions Barbara and Tobias we’re completely thrilled with their album design. I’m so excited for them to see it!  The album is being shipped straight to the couple in Sweden so I won’t get to see this one, but my album vendor Forbeyon rocks and I totally trust them.

I am very excited to announce the re-branding of my photography business. Our colors, branding, and back-end work flow…pretty much the entire business structure, has all been changed. We are also introducing a new and lower priced package to the lineup. Wedding photography packages for Houston now range from $1800 – $6000, and still include those a la carte options. The reduced package includes an engagement session, 6 hours of coverage, and images on DVD.  The new price for this package will be $1800.  Albums, additional hours, and prints can be added a la carte.  Additionally, we have more involved packages with albums and products built in.

Our church is just one of over 1700 churches in this One Prayer series who are rallying together for the next four weeks.  Close to a million people will be praying together and sharing the same resources as it we’re mean to be…just one church.  All the offerings that come into these churches over the next four weeks are going directly to fund these micro missions to people in need.

I wanted to at least have a few photos up on the new blog to test stuff with so feel free to check out the actual post on my old blog here. With the old blog and the amount of posts I had I discovered a problem; the blog took 7 years to load with the amount of photos that I like to post. So I’ve decided the best thing would be to just post a slideshow of my favorites, and post no more than 7 of my “super favs.” This reduces the amount of time the blog takes to load, clients can still right click and save a few of the images for Facebook and stuff, and I can still post a ton of photos. Win-win-win. So to start things off, here’s an example!

Here are a few more of my favorites in slideshow. I just started using the slideshow plugin so the size may be to big, and the next slideshow wont be watermarked with my logo. Leave a comment if you think it’s too big or if it takes too long to load. Thanks!
