Say no to soda

Our church is just one of over 1700 churches in this One Prayer series who are rallying together for the next four weeks.  Close to a million people will be praying together and sharing the same resources as it we’re mean to be…just one church.  All the offerings that come into these churches over the next four weeks are going directly to fund these micro missions to people in need.

Last year with One Prayer 2008 they planted over 660 churches in different countries! Super cool!

Anyhow, so your really supposed to fast for the entire 4 weeks but I like to eat and I’ll probably get hungry so going four weeks fasting food really isn’t an option. So, we’re fasting sodas. I drink them every frikking day, so for the next four weeks…no more sodas! Only my southern home-brewed sweet tea, juice, and water.
