Fresh images and Smugmug!

I am totally excited about using Smugmug for our new proofing company! Pictage has been working great, but Smugmug allows me a lot more freedom to do some really sweet things! For example I can post galleries right here on the blog!

Along with that I can stream images into my current website, post galleries and videos straight to Facebook, AND it will be SO much easier for my clients to go in and order photos! No more SPAM or confusing log in’s! Smugmug is super awesome at online storage and proofing.  They are officially our 3rd source of backup.  Every image that I have ever taken will be uploaded to Smugmug for safe keeping over the next few weeks. Starting from the next wedding, ALL future weddings and Life sessions will be uploaded to Smugmug for online proofing.

The single most important benefit for me is being able to completely integrate Smugmug site WITH our current branding!

I also added a lot of new images to my website that have never been posted before, along with adding back in the Lifestyle category because there we’re just too many cool images that couldn’t possibly stay hidden!

Check it out!

Can you believe its been 5 months since a COR post? Un-acceptable! This post is coming to you from my back deck, in a balmy (but surprisingly cool) 85 degrees, on my beloved G1 (man the HTC Hero looks pimp! Android frikking rocks my tube socks.).

- July’s Life sessions are 2 weeks away! Last chance to book!
- reading Chris Andersons book FREE. Highly recc.
- fall through dec is crazy. Austin,Dallas,Tampa,Michigan, Santa Barbara, San Antonio, then back to Tampa…and I’m pretty sure I’m missing a city in there somewhere.
- may have my work published in next months issue of Destination Weddings and Honeymoons magazine.
- getting a really old film camera to play with
- taking my family on vacation at the end of August!

There’s probably more but that’s all I can think of for now. I leave todays post with a beautiful set of words;
“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.”
